The colorful festival of the Tokyo Olympics has come to an end. Like most events, the closing ceremony took place in the stadium without spectators.

The flag bearers of all the participating countries formed a circle in the center of the field at the beginning of the ceremony.

Earlier, International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach called the sport a success despite the epidemic.

The United States has won the most medals at the Tokyo Olympics and is the only country to have won more than 100 medals.

Organizers say only 19 athletes could not attend because they were affected by Code 19.

The United States tops the medal table with 39 gold medals, followed by China with 38 gold medals. Japan is third on the list with 28 gold medals.

The United States has won 39 gold, 41 silver and 33 bronze medals. The United States won a total of 113 medals at the Tokyo Olympics. China, on the other hand, won 38 gold, 32 silver and 18 bronze medals. China has won a total of 88 medals at the Tokyo Olympics.

Third in overall medals is the Russian Olympic Committee, which has won 71 medals and Britain is fourth with 65 medals. Hosts Japan are fifth in terms of total medals, 58.

China has launched an official program to make itself a sports superpower called the Gold Medal Strategy or Gold Winning Strategy. Under this, thousands of sports schools have been opened in China.
