Chasing England's target of 248, Pakistan were bowled out for 195 in the 41st over.

England's Lewis Gregory was declared man of the match for scoring 44 runs in eight overs and taking three wickets.

Earlier, Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam won the toss and invited England to bat first. England scored 247 runs in 45.2 overs while all their players were dismissed before the stipulated 47 overs.

It should be noted that the toss of the match was delayed due to rain and the 50-over match was limited to 47 overs.

It may be recalled that in the first match of the series, England defeated Pakistan by nine wickets.

England won the toss and elected to bat first. Pakistan were bowled out for 141 in 35.2 overs. In reply, England easily achieved the target of 142 runs in 21.5 overs at a loss of just one wicket.

This is the 100th ODI of England captain Ben Stokes and he is currently leading a team with many inexperienced players.

The reason for this was that before the start of the series, the England team went into isolation due to the concerns of Code 19 and then England has added many new players to the team.

It may be recalled that the Pakistan team will play three ODIs and three T20I matches in England.
